GAVIN GIVES ADVICE ON VISUAL STRESS (MEARES IRLEN SYNROME)
BBC Essex's Dave Monk show is often the place where the people of Essex discuss topical health issues, but this week Patrick and Menzies, Partner, Gavin Rebello, described the problems of living with visual stress or 'Meares Irlen Syndrome'.
He was joined by Julie Titmus a client from the W. Mersea practice who had been suffering with the condition all her life. She'd had her eyes tested several times by the big chain opticians, but the problem had never been picked up. It was not until she had an in-depth eye examination at Patrick and Menzies that visual stress was suspected. Gavin understood her condition and gave her tinted lenses to help her eyes relax so she could read properly. Julie's now training to be a veterinary nurse! So, if you suffer from headaches, migraines, dyslexia, or if electric lights or stripy shirts or lines make you feel uncomfortable, give us a call today to help you reach your potential.
Following on from Gavin's discussions with BBC Essex, The Daily Express have published an article on Juile's examination. To read the Daily Express article, click here >>>
