GIVING SIGHT RAISES FUNDS TO HELP THIRD WORLD

Sight is vital to everything we do, and for many in the third world it can be the difference between life and death. To help locals go about their everyday lives the charity, Optometry Giving Sight, has trained 612 teachers to screen 110,000 schoolchildren. The program also provides kids with spectacles to help them stay in school and learn the necessary skills to gain employment.
