PATRICK AND MENZIES SAY “BE SUN SAVVY”

Patrick and Menzies has headed a campaign to raise awareness about the benefits of wearing sunglasses. Andrew Patrick, Partner was interviewed by the Evening Gazette and appeared on BBC Essex’s Dave Monk show. He encouraged everyone to protect their eyes from harmful UV rays, and advised parents to give children sunglasses to help protect from macula degeneration in later life.

He also advised consumers to buy shades from a reputable source, and not via ebay or on the internet. The online market has been flooded with fakes, which may offer no UV protection. He also advised people to buy sunglasses before they travelled abroad as all shades bought in the UK are guaranteed to adhere to strict British safety standards.
